The camp After getting separated from Roy and the rest of the group during a mission, Haylie and Tabitha try to make their way back while dodging Sentinels. During their journey through an abandoned warehouse that was once a mutant hideout, they hear crying and find a nine-month-old baby sheltered under debris. They take the baby back to base and convince Roy to let them keep him. {Garrett Hedlund} FACT #1: Haylie named the baby Ryder and gave him Tabitha's last name because she was convinced that naming him Roy (like Tabs wanted) was just cruel. FACT #2: Ryder adores Scott, much to Roy's chagrin and his mothers' amusement. He resents Roy for breaking "Mama Haylie's" heart too many times and will often pick fights with him because of this. FACT #3: Ryder goes by the codname "Short-Circuit". His mutant ability is Breakdown Voltage Manipulation, which allows him to change the breakdown voltage of an insulator; making it more resistant to electrical breakdown, or weakening it to make it electrically conductive.
Rochester, NY Before William, came Eden. Haylie and Mac were on base having drinks one night, and somehow it turned into a conversation about Haylie's biological clock ticking, and then the next thing she knows, she's getting invitro. 9 months later, there's a baby. And a lot of confusion because they're still trying to figure out how Mac's DNA got in there. {Jayla Rubinelli} //Mac's face. The resemblance is kinda eerie sometimes. But she's got Haylie's eyes.// FACT #1: Eden is a straight-A student with no desire to join the military, which makes her moms incredibly happy. She wants to go to Cal Tech to study some kind of fancy math phenomenon with a name that neither Mac or Haylie can pronounce. FACT #2: Has just a little too much fun picking on William. And Sykes. FACT #3: At first, it seemed like the X-Gene skipped Eden until when she got pissed off at William for taking her Calculus book, she started yelling about equations and her book multiplied itself. With some help from Dr. Chandler, they discovered that her ability is known as Quantakinesis - the ability to psychically manipulate numbers and quantities. Which is oddly fitting with her genius-level math skills. Her assigned mutant codename is "Quantum". Which she also hates.

They used eggs harvested from Haylie to grow the child. About two years later, there was an attack on the base which destroyed the lab where the experiments were being held and during the fray, Haylie and Lorna discovered a set of twins that bore dogtags with their last names and decided that these children weren't going to be military test subjects. They took the twins and went into hiding to protect the kids. {Peyton List} //Lorna's facial structure and hair color, Haylie's eyes// FACT #1: Addison likes to point out that she's the older twin at every opportunity. FACT #2: Addison's powers appear to stem from Haylie's X-Gene. Atomic Filtering: the ability to seperate substances on an atomic level with a touch, using bioelectricity to group like atoms and also reverse the filtration. Molecular Manipulation: the ability to control molecules and atoms, allowing the user to alter subtances and turn carbon dioxide into oxygen. The possibilities are nearly endless. Addison's codename is "Filter". FACT #3: Like her parents, Addison is a pacifist and refuses to intentionally kill anyone.

Basically, anything that could kill him. FACT #3: Thankfully, Aiden's mutant abilities serve as a counterbalance to his disease. Vector Control: the ability to control the direction of anything under the laws of physics. He can change directionality of anything he can see, as well as gravity and air resistance, to protect himself or augment his own strength. Forcefield Projection: the ability to project and manipulate forcefields of energy. This ability is believed to come from Lorna's X-Gene. Aiden's codename is "Vector".

During a throw-down with Daken, he managed to stab her in the stomach with his claws while she was in her second trimester. The trauma almost caused her to miscarry. FACT #2: A true daddy's girl, Harper has Spencer wrapped around her finger. It might have something to do with her being the spitting image of her mother and having acquired Haylie's spirit as well. FACT #3: Harper is known as a Hyalokinetic; a person with the ability to mentally manipulate glass. In addition to hyalokinesis, she has a secondary ability known as Reflective Teleportation. With a touch, she can teleport to and from any sort of reflective surface that she chooses. Harper's given codename is "Parallel".
I couldn't resist giving Haylie twins! Especially since Haylie and Lorna have such different looks, so each of the twins looks more like one or the other.

She's not ridiculously paranoid and emotionally blocked-off like Haylie, and well... she's not spouting off about Alice in Wonderland like Ophelia. How this happened is a miracle. FACT #3: Teagan's mutant ability is Neurosynaptic Manipulation; which allows her to alter synaptic firings in the nervous system of other people as well as herself. She can essentially control people from the inside out. Which freaks Haylie out almost as much as telepaths do. Her mutant codename is "Synapse".

She had eyes like the ocean and the face of an angel. Ric was devastated over the fight with Martini and Haylie had been left saddened by Hope's departure, and of course this led to comfort!sex. And a baby, because apparently her ovaries hadn't dried up yet. And she might have to go into hiding because she's pretty sure Martini wants to kill her. {Rafi Gavron} //He gets his looks from daddy.// FACT #1: Alejandro will only let his mother call him "Alex". He's also ridiculously attached to his mother. FACT #2: Alejandro tells everyone he has two dads and a mom because Ric and Martini made up after he was born and Haylie was completely okay with this. Especially since it meant she didn't have an angry time manipulator after her. FACT #3: Alejandro's ability is Centrifugal Manipulation - the ability to manipulate centrifugal forces; spinning objects or slowing down spinning objects. His favorite use of his power is to spin the air around him so he can launch himself over small distances. His mutant name is "Torpedo".

FACT #2: Unlike his parents, Nolan is very tech-savvy and cannot stand to be outdoors for long. Nature freaks him out, cities make him happy. FACT #3: Nolan's mutant ability is Digital Mimicry: the ability to psychically mimic the "thought" processes of a machine, most commonly a computer processing unit, allowing memory and data gathering, analysis and processing on par with, or beyond a supercomputer. Nolan's codename is "Binary".
Dallas, Texas Whether or not Sykes was aware, Haylie had a crush on him from the beginning. However, she knew he tried to be firm about the "no fraternization" rule, so she never tried to pursue him. And she secretly believed he wanted someone like Betsy or Emma. She settled for being just a friend and over time got close to him. One night, they were up late shooting pool and relaxing and Haylie challenged Sykes to the best out of three games. If she won, she got a kiss. If he won? She would do extra laps for a month. Needless to say, she kicked his ass and got her kiss. The kiss seemed to bring out their unresolved sexual tension and they ended up in his bed soon after. One time turned into several times over a few months, and during a mission Haylie found out she was pregnant. Sykes offered to marry her being the gentleman he is, but Haylie refuses to get married just because he knocked her up, saying if he truly wants to spend the rest of his life with her in spite of the child, then she'll say yes. {Sarah Hartshorne} //Combination of both parents' features.// FACT #1: Savannah adores her father and will often follow him around like a puppy when her mother is out on missions. And if they're both gone? She's in the garage with Mac learning how to fix cars. FACT #2: She's incredibly protective of her parents, and won't hesitate to threaten any woman who tries to flirt with her dad because she's hoping that one day her parents will get married. FACT #3: Savannah's mutant power seems to stem from Haylie's X-Gene. Organic Deconstruction: the ability to break down living things. She can reduce living cells into nothing, and can destroy a person from the inside out. However, like her mother, she refuses to use it on a human being to kill. She also has her parents' enhanced durability that protects her from most impacts. Savannah's codename is "Breakdown".
